FAQ's
What is the cost per person?
We've always believed in keeping our prices affordable; however, in order to provide a campus that you will enjoy & to ensure our facilities are kept in the best shape, we've decided to increase our cost along with the promise of adding new features & amenities in the future! Moving forward, our rate will be $30 per person a night. Kids ages 5 & under are free!
Is there a camp deposit?
Yes, the deposit (half of the total amount based on how many campers are expected) must be paid at the time of making your reservation. You will receive an email with instructions on how to make your deposit depending on what method of payment you chose on the reservation form.
How many guests can your Retreat Center accomodate?
Our facilities will sleep up to 150 campers with 78 in the Hill building & 72 in the Pickel building. We also host groups that enjoy pitching tents on the Rec. Field and group sizes have ranged from 20 to 200 for that option.
What do we need to bring?
Guests are encouraged to bring towels, pillows, bedding for a twin bed (sheets or sleeping bag), and toiletries. Leaders may also need to bring paper products and any food items for your stay. We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags, but you will be responsible for refills as needed.
Do you have a worship space/meeting room we can use?
Absolutely! There are a couple of options for you depending on whether or not you're the only group on campus. If you're in the Hill building, the Main Hall is sufficient for your worship services or meeting space. The Atchley is also a great place to hold services and other events. Our campus is spread out enough to host multiple gathering spaces for your group.
Can I schedule a tour of the campus before booking?
Yes, we'd love to show you around & talk through your ideas for camp. We're open year-round so you may have several ideas for other events in the off season and we're happy to answer any questions as walk through the campus. For groups further away, we can take extra photos & videos for you as well.
Is there a certain check-in/check-out time?
Check-In time is 3pm unless otherwise discussed with the Camp Caretakers beforehand. Check-out time is 11am on the last day of your reservation. If you need to leave earlier or later than the standard time, please confirm with our Camp Caretaker before packing up.
What responsibilities will our group have on-campus?
We ask that you clean up & pick up after yourself and leave the camp in at least the same condition it was in when you arrived. You can see a detailed list of responsibilities here & our Caretakers will provide a printed copy of it when you arrive.
Do you allow smoking or alcohol on the property?
No, smoking of any kind, drugs, & alcohol are strictly forbidden anywhere on our property. We are a Christian organization and will not tolerate these things being brought to our campus.
Are we allowed to hunt animals or take plants with us?
We observe a policy of avoiding harm to others. We want to make sure everyone is safe on our campus, so this also means that we do not allow hunting or trapping animals of any kind as accidents can occur. That said, we also do not allow any weapons of any kind on our property. Groups enjoy the plants & trees, so we ask that they are left alone -- cutting & picking them is not allowed.
